How Long Would It Take to Watch All the Marvel Movies?

To say that the Marvel superhero movies made an impact is an understatement. These movies brought Stan Lee’s creations not just to life, but to a whole new level. There have been 23 movies, so far, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’ve only seen about 10 of them so far and was thinking the other day of binge-watching them all at once. This led me to question how long that would really take?

How long would it take to watch all the Marvel movies? It would take approximately 3,015 minutes to watch all 23 of the Marvel Cinematic Movies, up to Avengers: Endgame. 3,015 minutes is about 50 hours, or 2 days and 2 hours.

This estimate of how long it would take to watch all the Marvel movies does not include any of the Spider-Man movies from Sony (where Spider-Man was played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield), any of the X-Men movies (of which there are 13 total), Deadpool, or any of the Marvel TV shows.

This estimate takes into consideration all of the post-credit scenes that Marvel is known for adding in their movies, giving viewers a glimpse of what to expect in the succeeding movies.

Again, if someone wanted to marathon all 23 movies, it would take more than 50 hours or 3,015 minutes, give or take. That’s about 2 days and 2 hours! 2 days wasn’t as long as I thought to be honest.

But keep in mind, this is 2 days straight, with each movie back-to-back. When you schedule bathroom breaks, time to pop more popcorn perhaps, or just get some fresh air, the time it takes to watch them all will expand.

A lot of people choose to watch Captain Marvel after Infinity War since it was revealed that it was she whom Nick Fury sent the distress signal to when all hell broke loose on Earth.

However, if you think about it, it would be better to watch it after Captain America: The First Avenger since it is also a movie set in a specific period in time, in the ’90s. If you watch it after Captain America: The First Avenger, it gives us a glimpse into Nick Fury’s past.

Additionally, Captain Marvel also helped inspire Nick Fury into forming his team of superheroes. She is also the first one to let Fury know that there are threats outside of Earth, although this was something Fury did not believe at first.
